Leslie graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in Toronto in 1995. The 2200 hour program includes studies in science courses such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Neurology and Nutrition. The program also includes a range of practical courses such as Massage Treatments, Rhythmic Mobilization, Clinical Assessment, Remedial Exercise, Joint Play, Trigger Point Therapy, Advanced Palpation, Manual Lymph Drainage, NISA Techniques, etc. Another important component of the course is over 250 hours of clinical training in diverse settings which include hospitals, the U of T Sports Clinic, shelters for teens, women and children, Senior Citizens' homes, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres and neurological clinics.

Leslie's areas of interest and clinical work experience include: Stress Reduction, MVA Injury Rehabilitation, Chronic Pain Management, Special Needs Clients, Postural Retraining, Sports Massage, Senior Massage, Addiction Rehabilitation, Infant Massage and Pregnancy & Labour Support. Leslie is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in Ontario and B.C.
